The shooter would quickly amass more than 10 million downloads within just a week of the game's release, reaching the top of Steam's best-sellers chart in the frenzy following its launch. Now, an exciting update looks to be on the way for the game's next competitive season.

The First Descendant Adding Huge Reward to Season 3

As reported by VideoGamer, Nexon has revealed that an exciting new reward will be coming to The First Descendant with its third season. Season 3 of The First Descendant will feature a Common skin as part of the rewards for the Battle Pass for the first time in the game's history. The skin will reportedly be themed around the game's new season, with Nexon acknowledging fan feedback about the value of The First Descendant's Battle Pass. The First Descendant's Season 3 is currently expected to launch sometime in June.

While not much has been revealed about the Season 3 update, The First Descendant has already seen plenty of major updates in March. The First Descendant launched its newest Ultimate Descendant earlier this month, with Ultimate Blair coming with a variety of Skill Modules for increasing his Crit stats and applying burn damage.
