Like any shooter game, weapons are a crucial part of The First Descendant gameplay. As players, or descendants as they are called, fight against Vulgus, having the right weapon can make a massive difference.
You can find many different weapons with unique features as you make your way through the game. In addition to general weapons, the game also features Ultimate Weapons with unique abilities. But to unlock their full potential, you will need to upgrade them. In this article, we're going to show you how to level up your Ultimate Weapons in The First Descendant.
The First Descendant: How To Farm Concentration Priority Mods
Here's how you can farm large amounts of Concentration Priority Mods in The First Descendant without grinding tons of missions.
How to Upgrade the Ultimate Weapons in The First Descendant
Ultimate Weapons in The First Descendant are undoubtedly fantastic tools, but they start with very low DPS at their base level. To make them truly effective and deal significant damage to your enemies, you need to upgrade them. Upgrading weapons in The First Descendant is a lot more complicated than you would expect, but here is a detailed guide on how to do it easily.
To level up an Ultimate Weapon, you need two things:
- A high-tier weapon whose level can be transmitted to your Ultimate Weapon.
- Precision Phase Exchanger
Getting A Phase Exchanger
A Phase Exchanger is a type of rare material in the game that can instantly transmit a weapon's level to the other weapon. An NPC named Anais can help you craft this material, but you have to spend a lot of Liquid Metal for it.
Liquid Metal is a rare material in TFD. To get it quickly, you should dismantle weapons often. Missions like Void Intercept Battles are a good choice because they often provide many new weapons that you can dismantle for Liquid Metal.
Descendants will need 250 Liquid Metal to make the Precision Phase Exchanger, and it costs a ton of gold as well. Alternatively, you can also get Phase Exchangers through the Battle Pass.
Once you have the required amount of Phase Exchangers ready, you can head to the workbench located in Albion or any other safe zone on the map. Click on the Weapon Level Transmission button and choose the weapon you want to upgrade.
Next, you need to pick a weapon you want to sacrifice by transmitting its levels to your Ultimate Weapon and click on ‘Weapon Level Transmission’. And just to quickly mention, the levels can only be transmitted from a weapon of high level to a weapon of low level, and not the other way around.
