The Callisto Protocol is one of the most visually striking horror games available, and it comes from the same developers as Dead Space. It's a treat for fans of the series. The gruesome science fiction horror has a lot to offer those dedicated to the genre, as there are tons of secrets and lore to uncover as they progress through The Callisto Protocol.
Unfortunately, there's no New Game Plus mode or extra content for The Callisto Protocol yet, but the developers at Striking Distance Studios have announced on Twitter that there is a NG+ mode and more new content on the way set to arrive in 2023.
When Will Callisto Protocol Get New Game Plus?
Thankfully, Striking Distance Studios announced an exact date for when players can access the New Game Plus mode and other content. The date for The Callisto Protocol's New Game Plus mode is set for February 7th, 2023.
The studio hasn't indicated yet what will carry over in the NG+ mode, but it's probably safe to assume that the equipment, weapons, upgrades, and outfits will be useable. These modes are usually the best way to deal with high difficulty levels in action-adventure games.
The NG+ mode update is good news for fans as it will launch alongside the Hardcore Mode. Season Pass owners will gain access to the Outer Way Skin Collection on the same day. The Contagion Bundle will launch in March 2023, and The Riot Bundle is set for Spring 2023.

Season Pass Content Explained
The Contagion Bundle
The Contagion Bundle features a permadeath mode with limited ammo and health drops and will tap into that true survival horror experience that fans crave. It will also include 13 new death animations for Jacob and the Watchtower Skin Collection.
The Riot Bundle
The Riot Bundle will unlock a new undiscovered area in Black Prison as Jacob is tasked with fighting through waves of enemies to earn new weapons, upgrades, and credits. The Riot Bundle will include 12 new death animations for Jacob and the Engineer Skin Collection.
Unfortunately, the developers haven't given anything away about the upcoming Story DLC set for Summer 2023. One can only speculate if it will continue Jacob's story or if The Callisto Protocol's DLC will focus on a new character altogether. Either way, there is a lot of content for players, whether the content is free, like the New Game Plus updates or part of The Callisto Protocol' s season pass.
