The fourth episode of The Beginning After the End finally brings Arthur Leywin and Tessia Eralith together. After Arthur saves Tessia from the slave traders, he agrees to escort the elf girl to Elenoir, the Kingdom of the Elves. It lies opposite Sapin, meaning Arthur’s reunion with his parents will not happen anytime soon. Still, Arthur comes along with Tessia to ensure her safety above all else.

Throughout the trip, Arthur and Tessia’s friendship develops despite their differences. While Tessia is childish and immature, Arthur is too mature for his age because of his awareness of his past identity as King Grey. Regardless, the two of them form a unique bond as they overcome one challenge after another. From sleeping in the same bed to late-night discussions, they became inseparable.

In other words, it will be impossible for Tessia to betray Arthur after everything he has done for her.

With Tessia backing Arthur’s statements, the Elf kingdom would open their doors for him despite some reservations from the king and queen, as well as the citizens. Nonetheless, Tessia will insist that her very first true friend stay a little longer.
