The good news is that no matter the choice you make now, you will get plenty of better cars later in the game. Your choice now will only affect the early game experience.

The Nissan 370Z is the cheapest option of the lot, meaning you will have some cash left over to put towards your first upgrade. This might sound like a great idea, as players will be able to get their hands on far better cards in the mid and late stages of the game. However, this also means that players will need to upgrade sooner, and going with a different starter car means they can save up even more money in the long run.

This is the best choice players can make, but it is also the most costly one. However, since this will optimize their win rate, they will see the greatest returns from taking this car. Selecting the Alpine also means players will be able to go longer without the need to upgrade or buy a new car — and have more money to put towards their first major purchase. All three cars have around the same top speed stat, but the Alpine has a clear advantage in its acceleration to get it there.

The Ford Mustang is cheaper than the Alpine, with slightly more enticing stats. This car will be better at clearing corners and is a great choice for players that are all about drifting. This is also a car that will pass a lot of other racers in the early game at its top speed. Players who try out both the Mustang and the Alpine will notice just how much more control they will have driving the Mustang.
If you plan on playing with friends, you can coordinate which starting cars you are all thinking of using.
