Tesla  will be constructing a new factory to assist with manufacturing more Cybertrucks, one of the company's recently announced vehicles, as well as other Tesla products. Dubbed "GigaTexas," the factory will be constructed 15 minutes from downtown Austin, Texas.

According to Elon Musk, the factory will be an "ecological paradise," including a hiking and biking trail with "birds in the trees" and "fish in the stream." Additionally, the factory will be open to the public. Tesla is guaranteed a minimum of $15 million in tax breaks over the course of the next decade for constructing the plant in Texas. Tulsa, Oklahoma was also being considered for the Gigafactory.

Tesla will be hiring 5,000 employees for the factory with a $15 minimum wage. Despite that, some have criticized the move, considering it harmful to local businesses amidst the coronavirus pandemic, which has directly led to the closure of numerous companies, restaurants, and other businesses. Texas, in particular, has seen a sharp rise in coronavirus cases over the past few weeks, though it's unclear how this will affect the construction of GigaTexas.

Elon Musk has stated that he would like to see GTA  in Tesla vehicles in the past, though the vehicles also feature playable games such as Cuphead. That's kept him relevant in the eyes of gamers, though the Cybertruck's bold design also drew immediate comparisons to Cyberpunk 2077.
