Temtem recently launched as an early access title and quickly became one of the hottest games of this year. It’s a monster-catching game inspired by Pokemon that mixes a Pokemon style world with a vast MMO experience. Even though Pokemon fans don’t get to catch their favorite Pokemon like Pikachu or Gyarados, they still get to enjoy a similar experience. The creatures in this game are aptly known as Temtem, and players can catch these creatures with TemCards, which are the Pokemon equivalent of Pokeballs.
Similar to Pokemon, Temtem has a bunch of rare creatures that are pretty difficult to find and catch. One of these rare Temtem is Oceara, which is a majestic water Temtem that does not evolve into any other form. The Pokemon equivalent to Oceara would definitely be Lapras which is also a majestic water creature without an evolution. Oceara is quite rare in the game and often hides in pools within caves, so tamers will have to go out of their ways to catch this majestic Temtem in the game. Fortunately, this guide points out the exact location where players will be able to find an Oceara.
Where to Find Oceara in Temtem
To nab one, players are going to need a surfboard which can only be acquired by beating the first Dojo. Once players have the surfboard, head over to the docks on the Sillaro River, and surf to the right of the docks, go all the way up and around to find the entrance to the Aguamarina Cave. Enter the cave and head north through the door, which will take players to a long hallway. Head down, then take a right and go back up to find a new room where a waterfall is situated. There should be a pool at the bottom of the newfound waterfall, and that’s where Oceara likes to dwell.
In the pool, it’s all about luck because triggering an encounter is extremely rare so that all players can do is surf around the pool and hope they get an Oceara. However, when an Oceara finally appears, it’s better to use all the resources in the battle to weaken it and capture it with a TemCard. Players should make sure to stock up on a bunch of TemCards for this encounter.
Temtem is available now on PC in Early Access. There is currently no release date for the official launch.
