Developer Super Evil Megacorp released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate on iOS and Mac in May 2023 to rave reviews, with fans praising the roguelike for its gameplay and plot designed by TMNT comic book writer Tom Waltz and the studio's creative director Michael Johnson. As the four crime-fighting turtle brothers, players must fight classic enemies like Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady on a mission to rescue their mentor Splinter across different dimensions.

While Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate was originally exclusive to Apple Arcade, it wouldn’t be long before Super Evil Megacorp began bringing the game to other platforms. On July 17, TMNT: Splintered Fate launched on the Nintendo Switch as a timed exclusive, complete with four-player local co-op. A few days before its Switch launch, a PC port of TMNT: Splintered Fate was announced for Steam and Epic Games Store, set to be released at some point in 2024’s fourth financial quarter.

This PC port was included in the recently revealed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate DLC roadmap, which highlights Super Evil Megacorp’s plans for its successful roguelike during the remainder of 2024 and start of 2025. First up is an update for the existing versions of TMNT: Splintered Fate that will add cross-play between players on Switch and Apple Arcade. Additionally, the Apple Arcade version will finally get the couch co-op from the recently released Switch port, along with numerous bug fixes and stability improvements.

Finally, the developers behind Teenage Mutant Ninja: Splintered Fate are working on DLC, with the first expansion adding a fifth playable character alongside new environments and enemies. There will also be a new story chapter to play through, though runs will remain four chapters long.
