The developers behind TCG Card Shop Simulator have been rolling out regular updates that not only fix minor bugs but also introduce new features and products to the game. One of the updates saw the introduction of a customer review app. As the name suggests, this app allows customers to leave some feedback and a star rating based on their visit to the player's store.

This app can be pretty handy, and some of the reviews that customers leave are entertaining and sometimes even funny to read. Customer reviews can also help the player fix various issues within their store. That said, they aren't as useful as they could be. This guide will go through all there is to know about customer reviews in TCG Card Shop Simulator.

How Customer Reviews Work

When a customer leaves your store, they have the chance to leave a review. Customers can leave between 1 and 5 stars, and they'll leave a comment that gives some insight into their overall thoughts about the player's store. These reviews are pretty good for increasing sales. For example, if a customer leaves a negative review about how costly an item is, then the player can reduce the cost to keep customers happy.

Keeping customers happy is key to making money. If a customer enters a store and either can't find what they are looking for or thinks that your products are overpriced, then they may leave without making a purchase. Since your store can only have a certain number of customers shopping at any given time, a customer who doesn't spend any money is taking the place of one who might buy a few things.

Customers will leave a negative review for a number of reasons. Some of the biggest ones can be seen below:

  • The place stinks (due to smelly customers).
  • Couldn't enter the store (the store is closed or blocked off in some way).
  • The store didn't have a certain item.
  • The item the customer wanted was too costly.
  • The player is overworking their employees.

With the exception of the last point, there is something that the player can do to fix each customer complaint. As for the overworking of employees, this seems to be some sort of bug that is currently being worked on by the developers.

Do Customer Reviews Matter?

Customer Review App In TCG Card Shop Simulator

When it comes down to it, do customer reviews matter? Not really. While they can be used to optimize your store, they don't have a lasting effect on things like customer count. Also, the app only keeps track of reviews going back a few days, so bad reviews are quickly made irrelevant. At the time of writing, there's no long-term store rating that players can work toward improving. While things may change as the developers implement more features, for now, negative customer reviews don't cause any real damage to the player's business.

That said, it is a fun feature that, with a bit of work, could be a really crucial tool in the player's arsenal for making lots of extra money and building a great reputation in the TCG universe.
