Fallout 4 Big Settlement
Fallout 5 Could Give Settlement Building More Purpose with One Narrative Direction

Settlement building has turned out to be quite a controversial element of Bethesda's games, and Fallout 5 might have a chance to improve it.

Posted on Reddit by LauraMarieWackTats, a 10-second video was shared on the Fallout subreddit, showing the artist cleaning down the client’s tattoo of a quantum Deathclaw. Fallout 2 nearly featured Deathclaws with Power Armor, which is an intriguing concept in itself, but quantum Deathclaws are quite stunning to observe instead. The Deathclaw design is spread over the client’s upper arm, and it looks like the creature is levitating while producing a blue glow. The detail encased in the Deathclaw’s scales and facial features is commendable, combined with the highlights from the abnormal glow. Furthermore, the artist noted that the quantum Deathclaw was a part of the Nuka-World DLC, but was later cut.

Artist Shares Amazing Quantum Deathclaw Tattoo From Fallout 4

Wastelanders have been learning about the Deathclaws’ lore in Fallout for years, and fans agreed the quantum Deathclaw made an eye-widening tattoo. Redditors who admitted they weren’t partial to tattoos even took the time to praise the artist’s work, and others noted it was one of the coolest Fallout tattoos they had ever seen. Referencing the Deathclaw’s blue glow, some comments drew attention to the fact that some countries had outlawed blue from being used in tattoos, but this did not affect America. In a full-circle moment, the client took the time to drop into the Reddit thread to thank the artist for their amazing work.

Adding to the long list of little-known facts about Fallout’s Deathclaws, the quantum variants are creatures found in Nuka-World, the popular amusement park from the franchise. The creatures’ defining feature is their blue, Nuka-glow, obtained from ingesting quantum, and adds to the intimidating amount of damage Deathclaws can already inflict on players. Existing as manageable enemies in Fallout 3, the variants found in Fallout 4 are considerably harder to beat in battle, particularly because the Commonwealth Deathclaws are much more intelligent.
