Like most cozy games, cooking is an important mechanic in Tales of the Shire. As you help the village grow, you can whip up many different meals and share them with your favorite villagers. There’s also a cooking club you can join to level up your skills.

To start the cooking club, the protagonist will have to finish a quest called Restore the Cooking Club. You get this quest from Lily Cotton. Nefi’s Tongs Tunnel Location in Tales of the Shire

To start the quest, players will have to talk to Lily Cotton. She will give you her old mixing bowl and ask you to get it fixed by Nefi. But, when you go to Nefi, she tells you she can’t help because she doesn’t have her Forging Tongs. It turns out that she dropped them in a tunnel. However, she is too big to fit in there, so she can’t find them.

Now, it’s up to you to find that tunnel and get the tongs back. Nefi doesn’t tell you exactly where it is, and since Bywater is a big place, it can be a bit tricky to find.

But don’t worry, because you won’t have to search for too long. The tunnel she mentioned is actually right below her workshop. After you talk to Nefi at her forge, you should take the path that goes the other way and head toward the river. Keep walking, and you will come across a tunnel. Go inside, and you’ll see her tongs lying there. We have added a screenshot below to help you out.

Now that you have grabbed Nefi’s tongs, you will need to head back to her at the forge. She will fix up the mixing bowl for you in no time and hand it back to you. Once that’s done, take the repaired bowl back to Lily Cotton.

Lily will be happy to have her mixing bowl back in good shape. Then, when you ask her about the cooking club, she will ask you to go talk to Marigold in the Ivy Bush. This wraps up the Restore the Cooking Club quest and starts The Club Boards quest. Now, your next job is to help Marigold by finding the club boards.
