Although players are able to obtain some weapons through sub-quests and the main story, the vast majority of the weapons in Tales of Arise need to be crafted. This means tracking down all of the required components and then heading over to a blacksmith to have a new weapon forged. Initially, there'll only be a few craftable weapons available, but, as the story progresses, this amount increases considerably over time.

Much like Alphen, Shionne relies heavily on blacksmiths, with 17 of her 22 available weapons requiring the immense heat of a forge. It's worth noting that many of these are upgraded versions of her other weapons, so it's always a good idea for players to hold on to their older weapons rather than selling them on after they've been replaced, especially those hoping to unlock Tales of Arise's Arms Stockpiler trophy/achievement.

How To Obtain The Infantry Rifle

The Infantry Rifle serves as Shionne's starting weapon and, with the exception of the joke farming-themed weapon, is her absolute weakest. As such, players will want to upgrade to a better one as soon as possible.
