Rise of the Ronin shocked me in a great way. Not only did this game have some interesting combat and a phenomenal story, I found myself looking up the actual historical figures it involved to learn more!
The only issue I found myself having was the sudden difficulty spike in the final chapter which made some fights feel exhausting but overall I loved it.

A visually stunning game with deep combat mechanics. While the world is beautifully crafted, it didn’t quite capture me as much as I’d hoped. The story felt a bit lacking, and the pacing could be better, but it's still a fun experience for fans of the samurai genre.

Inevitably will be compared to Ghost of Tsushima but it should be regarded on its own for what it is. Art style and gameplay are very good!
