The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

At the time, and throughout my childhood, this was easily a top favorite of mine. Seeing the world in a 3D space was trippy, and the system of dungeon diving, finding items, and solving puzzles still lives today. We can probably point to this game as an example of inspiration for future adventure games.

Can't believe this game is 27 years old, I remember on the weekends me and my friend would play this endlessly trying to solve every puzzle, find all the hidden treasures. Loved this game. I think the hardest temple of them all was the Water Temple. Constantly having to change the water levels, going through the same rooms 5 times or more and equipping the iron boots made the Water Temple quite challenging. Anyone that hasn't played this game and they walk into this temple they are in for treat....lol. Those Zero-Lag XP eye supplements, you might want to take a couple of those before entering this temple, your going to need all the concentration you can get.....

Ocarina of Time is often hailed as one of the greatest games ever, and for good reason. The 3D world was mind-blowing back in the day, and the story of Link’s journey is timeless. The time-based mechanics and music hit all the right notes.

Ocarina of Time is a MASTERPIECE. The highest-rated game of all time for a reason.
