Description

Like a Dragon: Ishin! blends Yakuza's charm with samurai action, and it’s as wild as you’d expect. The combat is a blast with multiple styles, and the historical setting is refreshing. The side quests are hilariously quirky, making it another gem in the series.

Pretty cool idea taking the series back in time to explain some of the history, but if there was one Yakuza game that didn't need a gun, it's this one!

This remake feels like a love letter to longtime fans. The mix of swordplay and gun combat is so much fun, and the historical setting is a cool change of pace. It’s not my favorite Yakuza game, but it’s still a blast to play. I was expecting the Platinum to be more like the newer games but boy was I wrong and spend too much time playing Poker and betting on Chicken Races lol.
