Description
The year is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established their own lawless Republic where corruption, greediness and cruelty are commonplace.

Growing upon the ship combat in AC 3, I think AC4 delivered a perfect and yet unexpected setting for an Assassin.
The protagonist was surely a memorable one after Ezio. Also, the progression in Black Flag was really enjoyable with an extra focus on the ship.

Sailing the open seas as Edward Kenway is an adventure I won’t forget. The pirate theme was a breath of fresh air, even if the story felt secondary to the exploration and ship battles.

Not only one of the best AC games but also one of the best ever games in the pirate genre. It's difficult to get bored with Black Flag, and as Ubisoft has shown with the likes of Skull & Bones, even modern devs find it hard to replicate!
