All 23 Stele Message Locations in Sword of the Sea

As players explore different lands in Sword of the Sea, they'll come across stone tablets that will explain the lore of the world. These Steles are scattered around all the maps, and players will need to find them all to unlock the "Wisdom of the Ancients" trophy/achievement. To unlock this trophy, you'll need to find and interact with all 23 Steles found throughout the levels. Here's a complete guide detailing all the locations of said Steles.

All Stele locations will be listed in the order of their appearance to help make them easier to discover.

All Veiled Sea Stele Locations

There are six Steles that players can find in the Veiled Sea location of Sword of the Sea. Here are the exact locations where you can discover them.

Order	Stele	Where to Find It
1	The Sea Remembers	In the starting area at the first Water Point, head left from the sandy platform to discover a group of lanterns on the ground. Activate the lanterns to reveal a hidden cave, which will have a stele inside.
2	The Necropolis	After activating the Water Point on the large pillar in the second larger area, you'll need to use the newly summoned jellyfish to reach the higher platform. Here, you'll find the stele.
3	The Blade	You'll find a group of lanterns scattered on the ground towards the right of the pillar. Activating them will reveal a hidden temple entrance that you can enter to activate a Water Point. Once the point is activated, you'll find the stele towards the right of the mural.
4	The Fish Swim in the Sky	After activating the Water Point in the large castle, you'll notice that one of the windows is open. You can use jellyfish to reach the open windows and interact with the stele.
5	The Cycle is Broken	By following the chain to the right of the Golden Gate, you'll find this stele.
6	Auma	After you activate the right-side chains to the golden gate, a new reef will pop up to the left of the unearthed temple. Follow them up over the cliff, and you'll find the final Stele at the end of the platform.

All Lost Grotto Stele Locations

There are a total of four Steles that players can discover in the Lost Grotto region of Sword of the Sea. Here's where to find all of them.

Order	Stele	Where to Find It
1	Not All Wars Have Victors	After making your way into the second area of the Lost Grotto, look to the right of the door with two locks to spot lanterns on the ground. Activate the lanterns to reveal a hidden cave behind the sand and find the stele inside.
2	The Great Dolphin	In the same location as the previous Stele, head left from the door, and you'll arrive at a bridge with green crystals and dolphin statues. There's a Stele at the end of the bridge that you can interact with.
3	The Lost Grotto	After unlocking the aforementioned door, players will head inside the desolate remains of a town. Right after you activate the Water Point on the ground, the area will be surrounded by water and kelp. Use the kelp right in front of you to reach higher ground and interact with the Stele.
4	The Champion	After unlocking the door with four locks, players can go inside, and they'll find another turtle-head water puzzle. To the right of the turtle mechanism, they'll find the last Stele in Lost Grotto.

All Shadow Tundra Stele Locations

In the Shadow Tundra region of Sword of the Sea, players can find six more Steles of Wisdom hidden away in different areas. Here's how to discover them all.

1	Fire Elemental	The Stele can be found right at the start of the chapter, as soon as you fall down into the dark cavern after parting ways with your mysterious companion.
2	Ghost Warrior	As you leave the cavern and start venturing out into the frost-bitten lands, you'll come across a statue that will be pointing towards the right. Under said statue, you'll find the second stele of Shadow Tundra.
3	The Ghost Warriors Undoing	After navigating through the icy cold lands, you'll enter a small but open area with a large statue in the middle. As soon as you step on the ledge and gaze upon the statue, take an immediate right, and you'll find the third Stele before a mural.
4	Forgotten Eras	After arriving in the larger open area, you'll gain the ability to boost your speed by collecting wisps. Take a look at the left most section of the area to spot a broken bridge leading to a cave. Enter the cave and you'll find the fourth Stele under two stone snake heads.
5	The Dual of the Sea	When facing away from the castle that requires three bells to unlock, head downhill towards the left. You'll come across a cave opening with three pillars standing marking its entrance. Inside, you'll find the fifth Stele.
6	The Great Shark	Once you activate the second bell, head downhill towards the left to spot a shark statue at the edge of the island. Inside its chest cavity, you'll find the final Stele of the region.

All Sacred River Stele Locations

There are a total of four Steles that players can discover in the Sacred River region of Sword of the Sea. Here's where to find all of them.

Order	Stele	Where to Find It
1	The Minder’s Wisdom	After making it through the intro area, you'll enter a room with a large mural of a tower. At the base of the mural, you'll find the first Stele of the region.
2	The Tower	As soon as you exit the indoor area and enter a larger open area, you'll find the second Stele on a platform right below you, across a few boats.
3	The Sacred River	Once you progress through the open area, you'll come across a section where you'll need to activate a few switches to bring up a large ship. The third Stele is located inside the ship's quarters.
4	The Value of Legend	The final Stele in the region is located on a floating island, located directly across from the vendor/merchant sitting atop the tower. You'll need to use the jellyfish to reach the secluded floating island to interact with the Stele.

All Boiling Cavern Stele Locations

The Boiling Cavern chapter contains only three Steles that players can discover in Sword of the Sea. Here's where to find them all.

Order	Stele	Where to Find It
1	The Fires Below	After completing the puzzle of the area by unlocking the door using a water droplet, you'll find the Stele towards the right side of the room.
2	The Army of Red Fire	As you progress through the area, you'll come across a large room filled with lava and floating boats. Use the boats to head towards the right side of the room and go around the wall to uncover the second Stele.
3	When Water Battles Fire	A little further into the chapter, you'll arrive in a cavern with an animal skeleton that you can grind on. Reach the higher level using the second skeleton to get to the final Stele.
