A new, previously unannounced Switch 2 game from Konami has been revealed by way of a leak. While gamers have been surprised by a number of titles making their way to the Nintendo Switch 2, in no small part due to the system proving its capability to handle more modern games, this one may surprise due to the manner of the game Konami is creating.

Konami saw a number of successes in 2025, partially due to its efforts to revive some of its defunct or neglected franchises. Over the course of the year, Konami released Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster, Silent Hill f, the first original game the franchise has seen in years, and brought its Silent Hill 2 remake to the Xbox Series family of consoles. However, this new game appears to be disconnected from everything else Konami has recently done.

New Konami Game Revealed by ESRB Listings

A new Konami game called Enchanted Wonderland has leaked by way of the ESRB. While reliable game leaks have come from all over the internet and various sources, the ESRB is typically reliable because projects are listed there only after having been reviewed for their content. In other words, it's all but certain that the game is not only in development, but it's also likely to be close to a full reveal.

Enchanted Wonderland has been rated E for Everyone, and is described as having Mild Fantasy Violence. The adventure game sees players exploring a magical world to "gather joy" to revive a theme park. Players are tasked with interacting with NPCs, learning magic, and playing mini-games by way of theme park attractions like a UFO-shooting mini-game. Other than that, the only clue the ESRB rating has provided is that the game will have some sort of multiplayer component, as it acknowledges that users may interact during the course of the game.

Curiously, not even a teaser about this game had been shared prior to now, and it's not clear when Konami may choose to officially reveal it. However, given that it appears to be rated solely for the Nintendo Switch at this time, it's potentially exclusive to that family of consoles. If that's the case, then the next Nintendo Direct may be a good bet for when it will be revealed. Since the game has already been rated, there's also a chance that it may be a shadow-dropped game that lands the same day that it's announced, but this is largely speculation for now.

If Konami's Enchanted Wonderland gets revealed at the next Nintendo Direct, then there may be a couple of months or more before players get to hear about it. In 2023, the first Nintendo Direct was in early February, but the event has been sliding further into the year since then. 2024 saw the first Nintendo Direct land on February 21, while in 2025 a Nintendo Direct didn't happen until March 27, which particularly frustrated expectant gamers at the time. However, considering that Nintendo was prepping the full reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2 at the time, that may have been the reason for the delay. In any case, players likely shouldn't expect to learn more by way of Nintendo, at least, until January is over.

While a family-friendly adventure game about theme parks likely wasn't something that Konami fans were expecting or hoping for, it's not the only project on the publisher's roster for the near future. Fellow Konami-published E for Everyone-rated game Darwin's Paradox is slated to release sometime in 2026, and recent leaks have indicated that the next Silent Hill game, Silent Hill: Townfall, may also launch in 2026. Konami is reportedly attempting to turn Silent Hill into an annual franchise, so survival horror fans may be able to have a lot to look forward to from the publisher in the future.
