Despite being one of the best Hunters for beginners in Supervive, Felix still has plenty of depth, especially with all the ways he can Ignite enemies and spread the flames to entire teams. Mastering his ult and finding the best angles to engage can lead to huge game-winning moments, particularly in coordination with allies.

Felix's Passive - Ignite

In Game Description

Dealing damage with abilities and attacks builds flames on enemies, eventually igniting them to deal damage over 5s.
There are two levels of damage, with the second being lethal, meaning enemies can burn to death.
Felix's Level 3 spell refunds 25% cooldown when applying or upgrading Ignite on targets.

How To Use Felix's Ignite Passive

Beginner Felix players don't have to worry about his passive, as dealing damage will apply it. However, there are some more advanced tips to bear in mind.

Use RMB - Embry Bolt after they are already Ignited, to upgrade the Ignite and spread it.
Felix's dash applies Ignite on hit too.
Enemies can eat food (essentially health potions) to remove Ignite.

Felix's Basic Attack (LMB) - Flamethrower

Hold to fire a stream of flames, dealing damage per second.
Ignite enemies after burning them long enough.

How To Use Felix's Flamethrower

Felix's Flamethrower is one of the easiest weapons in the game, as players can simply hold down LMB to deal continuous damage.

It is short-range, so Felix must dash toward enemies to be useful.
Don't worry about ammo or anything, there's nothing wrong with holding down LMB against a boss, stationary enemies, or Vaults.
Felix is slower while using his flamethrower.

Felix's Q - Heat Shield

In Game Description

Spin to deal damage in a circle, apply Anit-Heal and pull them in.
If at least one enemy is hit, gain a Shield for 10% of your max Health, plus an additional 8% per enemy hit. Shield lasts 3s.
When you knock an enemy, reset the cooldown of Heat Shield.

Upgrades

Level II: -4s Cooldown.
Level III: +50% Damage, +5% Base Shield, +4% Shield Per Target.

How To Use Felix's Heat Shield

Outside of his ultimate, Felix's Heat Shield is his most important ability, thanks to AOE damage, Crowd Control, and sustain.

Great for killing monster camps.
You only get the shield if you damage an enemy.
Can be used during his ultimate and can pull enemies into the flames.
Don't be scared to jump into multiple enemies, as Felix's shield gets bigger when hitting more.
Use it to cancel enemy dashes and pull them in.

Felix's Shift - Pyro Pounce

In Game Description

Dash in flames, dealing damage and applying 100% of a full stack of Ignite.
Knocks back struck targets.
Has 2 charges.

Upgrades

Level II: -1.5s Cooldown.
Level III: +40 base damage, +11% AP Ratio, Instantly upgrades Ignite on target.

How To Use Felix's Dash

Felix's dash is simple and easy to use for movement, but to get the most out of it, remember that it deals damage.

There are 2 charges.
Initiate with it to fully apply Ignite.
If you dash during Felix's ultimate, the ult will be canceled.
Felix is reliant on his dash, either to get in or out. He can't deal damage with his short range if he doesn't dash in.

Felix's RMB - Embry Bolt

In Game Description

Shoot a fire bolt that deals damage and Ignites enemies on hit.
Knocks back struck targets.
If the enemy was already Ignited, it spreads to nearby enemies and is upgraded by 1 level.

Upgrades

Level II: -3s Cooldown.
Level III: +60 Base Damage & +200% AP Ratio Damage.

How To Use Felix's Fire Missile

Embry Bolt is Felix's longest form of damage and can be used to poke the enemy before a fight or finish them off if they flee.

Ideally, use it after applying Ignite with another ability or his flamethrower.
Can't be used during Felix's ult.

Felix's Ultimate (R) - Flight Of The Firefox

Lift off and fly forward, leaving a line of fire behind. The fire deals damage every second.
Slows enemies and quickly builds Ignite.
Reactivate to end the effect early.

How To Use Felix's Ultimate

Felix's ultimate ability is his greatest source of power, and it is easily one of the strongest abilities in the game.

Prioritize reaching level 5 early via Tombs of Knowledge or early kills.
Can't go through terrain.
Can be steered around.
Great for initiating fights, either from the back line or with a flank.
Felix's Q - Heat Shield, can be used during his ult to pull enemies onto the flames.
RMB can't be used during his ult.
Fly onto Respawn Beacons that are being used.
Use it to escape bad fights, even over the abyss

Best Build For Felix In Supervive

As an online competitive game, the best items and builds in Supervive will always be in flux, but the following options should remain solid for Felix. Other options are always valid, and it's best to learn which type of stats Felix requires.

Ability Order For Felix In Supervive

Take Q at level 1 to easily kill the first camp or when dropping directly on top of another team.
Shift is often best at level 2, either to get to a second camp faster or getting on top of enemies or away from them.
Max Q for a big cooldown reduction, and at max rank more damage and a bigger shield.
Shift and RMB are both viable second upgrades, with Shift arguably being more important, but the cooldown of RMB being reduced more.

Best Items For Felix In Supervive

The recommended build for Felix is one helmet and one sword. This allows him to stay alive in the frontlines, while also dishing out damage.

Vampiric Blade: Omnivamp is great on Felix in Supervive as he can heal up while taking damage in the frontlines. All three upgrades are good. Swiftblade for more damage and speed, Last Stand for more Omnivamp when low and when playing alongside healers, and Overdrive for more durability thanks to a shield at max health.
Bladed Helmet: The movement speed of Bladed Helmet helps Felix stick to targets, while also granting him more damage. Perseverance is best as he can heal even more, but Greed could be good if players find a lot of gold early.
