For the most part, the farming life in Sun Haven is quiet and cozy, but there are a few hiccups that appear and rattle that peace every now and then. One of these potential problems is Krusty, a giant, sentient rock that nestles its way into the player's farm early into their playthrough. This monster's appearance may seem problematic at first, but it's actually not that hard to deal with.

While it emits the same intimidating energy as other boss monsters in Sun Haven, all Krusty does is shower the farm with breakable rocks with a small chance of spawning Copper and Gold deposits. This is more annoying than profitable, and if the boss is left alone, the entire farm will eventually be too cluttered, forcing players to spend precious time clearing out Krusty's mess. Luckily, the boss can be removed from the premises with a little bit of effort.

There are no mini-games or complicated mechanics involved when taking care of Krusty in Sun Haven. Once it appears on the farm on the 15th day of Spring, players can immediately grab their pickaxe and start chipping away at the monster's health. The problem here is that Krusty has 10,000HP, and reducing all of that to zero means spending several in-game days whacking away at the big, angry rock. Equipping some decent items is recommended but completely optional.

To make this process go faster, players can finish the Blade Buddy and Pickaxe Partner quests by talking to Nathaniel and Lynn in town. The former is usually in the Barracks during the morning, while the latter is in Solon's Smithery for most of the day. Help them with their errands, and they'll happily help with the Krusty problem. Nathaniel and Lynn will chip away at the boss' HP in the background while players do their own things, but just the two of them won't be enough to make the monster go away.

Players need to chip in if they want to make Krusty leave. Once its HP reaches zero, the boss will drop a number of rewards, including the Pebbles pet. Krusty will automatically leave the farm by Day 20 regardless of how much health it has left. If it does go away on its own, players won't be able to get any of the rewards it drops.

Sun Haven is available now on PC. A Nintendo Switch version is in development.
