Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Fully Reveals Season 2 Content and Mrs. Freeze

Rocksteady has posted an official rundown for the Season of Frozen Hearts update for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. In the blog post, Rocksteady explains the new content coming to the game within the next week, including the introduction of a new playable character, Mrs. Freeze. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was released earlier this year and acts as both a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series and a follow-up to Batman: Arkham Knight.

Fans of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League have been anticipating the new content for a while. In early July, Rocksteady announced that the Season of Frozen Hearts would be postponed just two days before its anticipated release date of July 11. Season 2 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was subsequently delayed until July 25, further fueling rumors that Rocksteady's spin-off was already on its last legs. The Season of Frozen Hearts will introduce a new Suicide Squad member, Mrs. Freeze, a new map to explore in Frozen Elseworld, and ample loot perfect for switching up the look of the game's latest character.

The Season of Frozen Hearts will officially release on July 25, bringing with it a new addition to the Suicide Squad. Mrs. Freeze, also known as Victoria Frias, is a self-sufficient survivalist who excels in the science of cryogenics and sub-zero temperatures. Mrs. Freeze's primary ability is Ice Path, which allows her to create a trail of ice to glide along as a means of transport. Her secondary ability, Loop-De-Loop, enables her to quickly dash in one direction after breaking the Ice Path loop. Aerial Precision, her final ability, creates a midair ice platform from which she can fire upon enemies.

In addition to playing as Mrs. Freeze, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League fans will get to explore Elseworld, the frozen wasteland that Victoria calls home. Along with Mrs. Freeze and Elseworld, players will be able to track down new gear, such as the Killer Frost Infamy Set, the Firefly Notorious Gear, the Golden Glider Notorious Gear, and the Parasite Notorious Melee Weapons. Mrs. Freeze will also be getting a new set of gear, which grants players the freedom to customize their builds to create variations of the new character.

The Season of Frozen Hearts promises to be jam-packed with new and exciting content, but Rocksteady isn't stopping there. In future updates for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, fans can anticipate even more gear sets to Elite, such as the Captain Cold Infamy Set, the Heatwave Notorious Gear, and Icicle Notorious Gear, as well as new battle pass outfits for The Joker, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Mrs. Freeze.
