Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's Digital Deluxe Edition is available for pennies on the dollar on the Epic Games Store, one of the most popular PC storefronts. Having been released to poor reception back in February, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was panned largely for its live service elements and subpar third-person action gameplay. Sentiment surrounding the game was so negative that refunds were even issued to players by PlayStation. Furthermore, the game's unimpressive sales numbers led to a series of unfortunate layoffs at developer Rocksteady in October.

Despite a poor launch, Rocksteady did its best to support the game with post-launch seasons that introduced new playable characters to the roster. Season 1 brought iconic DC villain and Batman's nemesis the Joker to the game, while Season 2 added Mrs. Freeze. Most recently, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's third season added Deadshot's daughter, Zoe Lawton, also known as Lawless. Despite the post-launch support, player numbers for the game have only plummeted since launch, leading to Rocksteady reportedly scaling back on its support for the game. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's future remains uncertain despite a number of leaked characters that are still yet to be potentially added in future seasons.

Just about nine months since the game's release, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's $100 Digital Deluxe Edition has been temporarily lowered to just $5 on the Epic Games Store. Gamers have until December 3 to nab the game, which includes Justice League outfits, a handful of weapons, weapon dolls, color swatches, and one battle pass token that gives players access to a premium battle pass when redeemed. $100 was considered far too expensive for what was being offered in the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's Digital Deluxe Edition, but $5 is certainly a steal despite its struggling live service.

While both editions of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League remain at full price on Steam and PlayStation, gamers looking to jump into the game on console should turn to Xbox, which is currently offering the standard edition for $13.99. Some may be reluctant to jump at such a deal for a seemingly failed live service game, but Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is playable solo and may still be worth experiencing for fans of DC's heroes and villains. With that said, as far as the Epic Games Store discount is concerned, the battle pass token may not be usable if WB decides to fully end support for the game in the near future, so those who do grab the Digital Deluxe version via Epic should use that token sooner rather than later.

While Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's live service is still up and running, its future seems grim as the game struggles to find a consistent player base. For now, DC fans should jump in while they can before this Epic Games sale ends on December 3. Meanwhile, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's fourth season is rumored to begin in January and introduce Deathstroke, though these claims have yet to be officially confirmed.

Play as the Suicide Squad to take down the World’s Greatest DC Super Heroes, The Justice League. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, is a genre-defying, action-adventure third-person shooter from Rocksteady Studios, creators of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series. 

Featuring an original narrative set within an expansive open-world city of Metropolis, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League puts the four DC Super-Villains on a collision course with an invading alien force and DC Super Heroes who are now laser-focused on destroying the city they once vowed to protect. All the while, the Suicide Squad must be mindful of the lethal explosives implanted in their heads that could go off at the first sign of defiance.

Each squad member has their own unique moveset with enhanced traversal abilities to freely explore the dynamic open-world of Metropolis, along with a variety of weapons to customize, and skills to master.
