Developer Rocksteady has announced a new limited-time DLC for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League that is completely free to all players. The new springtime promotion debuted in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in an attempt to bring back players to the live-service game, offering them free content for the entire week.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the latest release from Rocksteady and follows Rocksteady's impressive Arkham series of games, which started with Batman: Arkham Asylum. This new adventure allows players to play as the Suicide Squad as they take on an open-world Metropolis.

The new DLC will grant Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League players a free outfit for each day they log into the game. This promotion began on April 3 and will last until Sunday, April 7, meaning players have a little less than a week to snag these free items. The event kicked off with a new look for Captain Boomerang, one of several playable characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Each character in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is customizable, allowing players to change the look of the characters as well as their playstyles.

The Future of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

This new limited-time promotion follows the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's Season 1 content update, which added the legendary Gotham baddie Joker as a playable character. These types of content updates will seemingly be a crucial part of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, with Rocksteady describing and marketing the game as a "live service" experience. Upon release, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League received a mixture of reactions and reviews. Unfortunately, many players, as well as parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, were left unsatisfied and unimpressed with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's performance.

However, Rocksteady's previously announced Season 1 update arrived two months after the game was released and looks to be a step in the right direction for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. For years, Rocksteady's Arkham series of games had been single-player-focused adventures with minimal microtransactions. However, this all shifted with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which features a full-fledged battle pass and content roadmap. Rocksteady has already committed to providing players with four seasons of live-service support for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, each of which will add a new playable character to the mix.

Play as the Suicide Squad to take down the World’s Greatest DC Super Heroes, The Justice League. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, is a genre-defying, action-adventure third-person shooter from Rocksteady Studios, creators of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series.

Featuring an original narrative set within an expansive open-world city of Metropolis, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League puts the four DC Super-Villains on a collision course with an invading alien force and DC Super Heroes who are now laser-focused on destroying the city they once vowed to protect. All the while, the Suicide Squad must be mindful of the lethal explosives implanted in their heads that could go off at the first sign of defiance.

Each squad member has their own unique moveset with enhanced traversal abilities to freely explore the dynamic open-world of Metropolis, along with a variety of weapons to customize, and skills to master.
