A newly unveiled trailer for Street Fighter 6 has given fans a good glimpse of the game's first crossover character, Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury. Street Fighter 6 is the first mainline title in the long-running franchise to introduce third-party guest characters.
During the recent Summer Game Fest, it was announced that iconic Street Fighter villain M. Bison and another character, Elena, would be added to the franchise's 2023 entry as part of its Season 2 DLC. This set of Street Fighter 6 combatants will also include the first guest characters in the series who are not from properties developed or published by Capcom: Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui from SNK's Fatal Fury. Around a month after M. Bison joined the Street Fighter 6 roster on June 26, Capcom has dropped an action-packed teaser for one of the upcoming guest characters.

A version of M. Bison is back in a brand-new body for his Street Fighter 6 appearance, but decades of failed evil schemes have led up to this point.
A trailer that was revealed at this year's Evolution Championship Series, or EVO 2024, provided a first look at Terry in Street Fighter 6. The Fatal Fury protagonist, who regularly appears in SNK's The King of Fighters series just like Mai, will come to the latest Street Fighter title this autumn. Both Fatal Fury and Street Fighter were created by legendary Japanese game designer Takashi Nishiyama. Following his stints at Capcom and SNK, the veteran developer ended up founding Dimps, a game studio that has mostly released mobile titles in recent years with publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Players who bought Street Fighter 6's Ultimate Pass or the game's Year 2 Character Pass will automatically get access to Terry when he gets released. Terry can also be unlocked individually using Street Fighter 6's paid in-game currency, Fighter Coins. M. Bison and all the Street Fighter 6 Season 1 DLC characters are each worth 350 Fighter Coins. The premium currency can only be purchased in bundles, with the $6.99 and $11.99 packs providing 250 and 610 Fighter Coins, respectively. These coins can be used to unlock cosmetics, stages, and the monthly Fighting Passes as well.
Aside from Fatal Fury, Capcom's latest Street Fighter title has partnered up with several other franchises since it was launched. In April, Street Fighter 6 collaborated with Monster Hunter for the latter franchise's 20th anniversary, while its crossovers with the popular Spy x Family series and Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles took place in 2023. Street Fighter 6 currently has ongoing crossovers with the comedy manga series Pop Team Epic and the digital collectible card game WWE SuperCard that will both run until August.
