In a community that seems to demand larger and more ambitious games, Stray makes things simple. With a basic objective, to escape the title's futuristic landscape, players can focus on exploration and interacting with their environment. Indeed, perhaps the most important aspect of Stray is the discovery that the title requires of players. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that there are many unique details in the game that players have discovered.

Players might become distracted by finding the door to the Outside in Stray which, while important for the main story, is only one part of the title's gameplay. In addition to escaping the city in which the game takes place, gamers should do their best to find all the hidden details within Stray that demonstrate the developer's creativity.

Reddit user Azrayle recently posted a photo from one of the Stray story chapters which shows an interesting clock. The clock, which is blue, has sixteen hours instead of twelve. Fans have pointed out that this interesting detail is likely due to the fact that the world of Stray is largely populated by robots. The robots' bit memory can, in theory, house sixteen numbers, which means a sixteen value clock is logical to a cybernetic society.

Of course, the blue clock is hardly the only Easter Egg in Stray. Fans have also discovered a red leather journal that looks to be a reference to the television show Gravity Falls. Given these examples, it seems likely that there are other hidden assets within Stray, though players have yet to discover them. In truth, the secret details could certainly be viewed as a benefit. With so many things to search for in-game, players can replay the story of Stray multiple times in order to find new and interesting things.

Secret objects aren't the only unique things that players can experience in-game. Gamers have already taken to modding Stray and forging their own adventures. And, even excluding these community-made additions to the title, Stray still includes plenty of content, as demonstrated by Azrayle. While the exciting parts of Stray aren't quite as fast-paced and attention grabbing as they are in other games, the title manages to reward players for exploration. That manages to keep the title interesting in an industry that feels dominated by vast games offering infinite choices. Indeed, Stray seems to be a reminder that the small things are often the most impactful.

Stray is available now on PC, PS4, and PS5.
