Memorable characters like Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) also began their epic journeys, and viewers were excited by the strange, creepy world of the Upside Down. Three years after season 4 ended, fans are more than ready to see how this story wraps up. Stranger Things Season 5 Needs To Give Nancy And Jonathan An Actual Storyline
Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers are two important Stranger Things characters, but they need a lot more to do.
The Stranger Things Season 5 Trailer Is Here, Teasing Epic Adventure And A Battle With Vecna
The Stranger Things season 5 teaser shows the main characters fighting for survival as Hawkins, Indiana is under attack from the Upside Down. The teaser opens with Steve Harrington (Joe Kerry) turning up a radio, suggesting that he will play a big part in the final episodes, and then shows the characters huddled together for shelter. Then, as the Party rides bikes around town, it's clear that the residents of Hawkins are ready for war. Planes fly overhead, the military walks around with weapons, and several characters try to fight the evil with fire. In one shot, the main characters hide in a building while the horrifying creatures of the Upside Down walk around, trying to kill them. The teaser ends with villain Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) saying "found you" as fire is unleased in the sky.
The Stranger Things season 5 teaser doesn't forget the reason why fans love this show so much: the characters. There are plenty of heartwarming scenes here, from the Party working together to Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) telling Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer):
"After what we've been through, this thing... It ties us together. Forever."
Linda Hamilton, who plays new character Dr. Kay, recently talked about the action-packed scenes that she shot, and the teaser includes a lot of compelling adventure. There's also a sweet scene between Jim Hopper (David Harbour) and Eleven, as Hopper tells her, "Let's end, this kid" and she looks ready for battle.
The Stranger Things season 5 teaser combines action with emotion, which suggests that these final eight episodes will be as moving as fans expect. Ted Sarandos, the co-CEO of Netflix, commented that viewers would find it tough not to cry when watching the final season, and this teaser definitely brings up a lot of feelings. These scenes perfectly capture how much the main characters care about each other and drives home the long journey they've been on to save each other and their small town from evil.
Stranger Things season 5 will come out in three parts and part one will be released on November 26th, 2025. After those four episodes, the next three will be released on December 25th, 2025, and the series finale will come out on December 31st, 2025. It's going to be a moving and thrilling ride.
