Netflix's sci-fi series Stranger Things took the world by storm in 2016, and now, as it nears its final season, fans are getting restless about when they'll actually get to watch it. However, Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, has revealed some reassuring words about the show's season 5 premiere. The Duffer Brothers' fantasy series became one of Netflix's most popular shows, with its fourth season the most-watched English TV series in the first four weeks of its release.

As the anticipation for Stranger Things season 5 grows among the show's fanbase, Millie Bobby Brown has a comforting and positive message for fans about its finale. At the premiere of her Netflix movie The Electric State, Brown told People that fans needed to "be patient" and to "let the Duffers create what they've been doing for the last 10 years so beautifully." Brown also said that viewers won't be disappointed with season 5 and that the wait "is worth it, I promise."

The Duffer brothers, Matt and Ross, previously said that season 5 of Stranger Things will have all guns firing right from the get-go and that it will be "epic". "There’s no time for a ramp-up. It’s going to be intense from beginning to end," said co-creator Matt, while also hinting that the final season will be on a greater scale than ever before. Recently, Netflix shared a poster of Eleven on Instagram that showcased that she had been missing since June 1986. Since season 5 of Stranger Things takes place in 1987, this means that Eleven has been gone for more than a year from when viewers last saw her.

Stranger Things cast members, which include Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, and Sadie Sink as Max, have previously expressed their struggles with Stranger Things coming to an end and how emotionally challenging it has been for them. Season 5 of Stranger Things is slated to come out at some stage this year, but the Duffer brothers have expressed that the series might even slip into 2026.
