An all-new LEGO Stranger Things set has just been announced, containing over 2,500 pieces and 13 minifigures. Set to release early next year, this Stranger Things LEGO set is inspired by the Netflix show's Creel House, a location that holds a great deal of importance in Stranger Things' fourth and fifth seasons.
This article contains spoilers for Stranger Things Season 1–4 and Season 5 Volume 1.
Stranger Things Season 4 introduced fans to Vecna, a telepathic antagonist who was once known as Henry Creel. As a child, Henry used his supernatural powers to murder his mother and sister, and was taken to Hawkins National Laboratory and experimented on by Dr. Brenner. Henry's DNA was used on a group of child test subjects, one of whom was Eleven. After being tricked into freeing Henry from his imprisonment, Eleven watches as he massacres the Hawkins Lab staff and test subjects, before sending him through a portal to a different dimension.
Henry Creel reappears four years later, now horrifically scarred from his trans-dimensional journey. Dubbed 'Vecna' by the Stranger Things kids, Creel attempts to wreak havoc on humanity, using a twisted alternate dimension version of his childhood house as his base of operations. The Creel House is the primary location of Stranger Things Season 4's finale, and it reappears in Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1, with Vecna bringing Holly Wheeler to a dream-like version of the house and seemingly trapping her there.
LEGO Reveals Stranger Things Creel House Set
The Creel House is the next subject of LEGO's 'Icons' line. Set to release in January 2026, the LEGO Stranger Things Creel House is a huge set that's packed with references to almost every season of the hit Netflix Sci-Fi show. The key features of this LEGO Stranger Things set include:
- 2,593 pieces
- 18+
- Retail price: $299.99
- 13 minifigures: Eleven, Will Byers, Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair, Dustin Henderson, Steve Harrington, Nancy Wheeler, Robin Buckley, Jonathan Byers, Max Mayfield, Holly Wheeler, Henry Creel/Mr. Whatsit, and Vecna (based on his Stranger Things Season 5 design)
- Two vehicles: Steve's car and the WSQK radio station van
- Play features: Rotating door that transforms Henry Creel into Vecna. The house transforms from its original 1950s pristine look to its 1980s dilapidated look via movable trees and removable wooden planks. Parts of the house can be pulled away and rotated to represent its appearance in Dimension X.
According to Netflix's press release announcing this new Stranger Things LEGO set, the Creel House will be available to purchase on New Year's Day, the day following the release of the Stranger Things Season 5 finale. Those who purchase the LEGO Creel House between January 1–7 will also receive a free Gift with Purchase set inspired by the WSQK Radio Station. This LEGO Stranger Things Gift with Purchase comes with two minifigures: Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper.
LEGO released its very first Stranger Things-inspired set back in June 2019. Titled 'The Upside Down,' this creative 2,287-piece LEGO set captured the Byers' house in both its real-world and Upside Down iterations. This original Stranger Things LEGO set came with 8 minifigures, which included all of the core cast members of Stranger Things Season 1 as well as a Demogorgon. This set retailed for $199.99 when it released back in 2019, and like most retired LEGO sets based on a very popular IP, it's since ballooned in price on the second-hand market, with some current Ebay listings selling complete-in-box sets for over $600.
If Stranger Things fans want some LEGO memorabilia that won't break the bank, then there are two other sets that might do the job. Released at the start of this year, fans can add adorable blocky versions of Mike, Lucas, Will, and Dustin to their LEGO Stranger Things collection by picking up the Brickheadz Stranger Things set. Fans can pick up another Brickheadz Stranger Things pack (containing Eleven, Max, Holly, and the Demogorgon) at the start of next year.
