How to Restore Stamina in A Wonderful Life

A Wonderful Life

Players can track their stamina from the green bar at the top right of the screen. Stamina is a combination of hunger and energy, and doing tasks such as tilling the soil, watering crops, harvesting fodder, and animal care cause the green bar to decrease. When it is empty, players pass out for a short time.

Many things affect how much stamina a task requires to finish, including energy, hunger, and tool quality. Players should get a full night's sleep and eat daily if they want their stamina fully recovered at the start of each day. However, there will be times when they need more stamina during the day and can't wait to sleep.

A Wonderful Life

Players will quickly use up all their stamina as the farm increases in size and profit. The fantastic quality crop soil has space for over 100 crops, and taking care of them by hand takes a toll. If players aren't upgrading their tools to gold, they will use even more stamina to handle everything. Luckily, they can easily refill stamina using the following methods.

Eating and Drinking Meals

A Wonderful Life

The most accessible way to restore stamina in A Wonderful Life is to eat/drink crops, animal products, and meals. Eating things raw does restore small amounts of stamina, but cooking from recipes is the best way to restore it completely.

Players will unlock recipes by making Bulletin Board requests, exploring kitchens, and collecting ingredients. Meals with higher quality ingredients or larger amounts will provide the most stamina. Players can stop at the Bluebird Cafe for a sandwich and tea if they need more stamina. Buying lunch every day can get a little pricey, so cooking at home is the best way to utilize this.

Stamina and Energy Drinks

A Wonderful Life

Another, more expensive way to restore stamina is to purchase stamina and energy drinks from Van the traveling salesman. Van visits the valley twice a season on the third and eighth day from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. He will sell players three kinds of drinks that go towards stamina and can only be bought from him. The drink names and prices include the following:

  • Energy Drink - 500G
  • Power Drink - 1,000G
  • Hyper Drink - 2,000G

Players can stock up on these for a quick stamina fix whenever he visits. The more expensive drinks are more effective, but again it can quickly get costly if players rely on energy drinks daily.

The Alarm Clock

A Wonderful Life

The Alarm Clock is the best and cheapest way to restore stamina in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Sleeping automatically refills the stamina bar depending on how long players rest. Before getting the Alarm Clock, players are forced to sleep until a certain time the next day every morning after going to bed.

After they get the Alarm Clock, they can use it to take small naps during the day. The Alarm Clock is unavailable until Year Two, when Garrett and his family move into the Townhouses in Forgotten Valley. In Spring of Year Two, a Bulletin Board request from him will appear, offering the Alarm Clock up for trade.

A Wonderful Life

Players can trade him Pickled Veggies, a salad recipe using Hybrid Crops, for an old Alarm Clock. After Garrett sets up the Alarm Clock, players can access it in their living room or next to their bed. They can choose when to wake up and nap for a few hours to restore stamina without spending money.
