Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is a cozy farming simulator where, like many before it, players must build an inherited farm from the ground up. Forgotten Valley is a small town with a thriving community where players can make friends, discover secrets, and work on their farms. The farm has little at first, but they can expand it to include more animals and crop fields over time.
Farm upgrades are essential if players want to increase profit and live an easy life. Several pieces of equipment and facilities make work easier, create things, or give them more space for their animal products and produce. Upgrading the farm is not cheap, and it will take a couple of years, most likely, before players have everything. Here's a complete guide on all the farm upgrades and how to get them in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
How to Upgrade the Farm in A Wonderful Life Remake
When players first move to the farm, they get two small crop fields, a barn, a chicken coop, and an empty pasture. Takakura will also gift them their first set of tools and a cow and explain how things work around the farm. Players will likely want to jump straight in after the introduction, but there isn't as much to do at first without spending money.
Players can buy crops and animals to start getting produce and products to sell, but income versus expenses will only be balanced in their favor once they get certain things. Players will want more crop and animal space as time passes to start pulling in the big bucks. More room means more work, which takes up stamina and time, so players must get farm equipment to assist them.
All the farm upgrades can be purchased from the Ledger next to the Shipping Bin and barn. Takakura will order them and start their production the next day, with some things taking up to two days to install. These upgrades can be costly, so players must save up their gold to get them over time.
