The Finlay Destination achievement in Still Wakes the Deep tasks players with dying in all possible ways. While this task is not extremely difficult to complete, fans may want information about the ways that they can die before they set their sights on earning the trophy. This guide is here to provide that information, and it will help players claim Still Wakes the Deep's Finlay Destination achievement.
Players do not need to die in all possible ways during a single playthrough of Still Wakes the Deep. Indeed, any progress that is made toward earning the Finlay Destination achievement is retained upon completion of the game, allowing fans to start a new playthrough and focus exclusively on the means of death that they missed.

Still Wakes the Deep: How to Die in All Possible Way
Fall Into the Ocean
Players who want to earn the Finlay Destination achievement must fall into the ocean, and they will have countless opportunities to do so. The first of those opportunities comes when helping Brodie with the dive bell near the beginning of the game, as fans of psychological horror games can drop into the water beneath the apparatus.
Burn
Players will encounter fire many times during their playthroughs, and they should stand in a flame until they die. Fans will find the game's first flame as they attempt to go to engineering under the rig, though that is certainly not their only chance to pursue this means of death.
Fall from Height
Falling from height can prove fatal in Still Wakes the Deep, and Leg C, an area that players will enter after passing under the rig, is a great place to achieve this type of death.
Steam
There are several points during Still Wakes the Deep where players must use valves to bypass steam-emitting pipes. Fans of story-rich horror games should make sure to die in the steam produced by one of those pipes, and they will get their first chance to do so while trying to escape through the water tanks.
Electrocution
Electricity provides another avenue toward death, and players can find hot wires and electrified water throughout the rig. The first hot wire manifests as a suspended light, and fans will find it as they begin their journeys downstairs to lifeboat access.
Monster
Getting caught by a monster will lead to Caz's immediate demise. Players will have their first direct encounter with a monster, Trots, in Laundry when attempting to return to Roy in the Canteen Store, though any subsequent encounter can also be used for this death.
Gas
Players will be tasked with visiting Engineering following the helicopter crash, and they will encounter a gas leak along the way. While fans of walking simulators will ultimately need to stop this leak, they should suffocate first.
Drown
There are numerous swimming sections in the back-half of the game, and players should drown in one of those sections. For full clarity, fans will begin to encounter underwater areas after climbing down Leg A.
Fail an Escape QTE
As players draw near to the end of the game, they will be forced to complete several quick time events that center around escaping from tentacles. The first of those events occurs when passing through Pontoons on the way to Leg B, and fans of sci-fi horror games must simply fail it.
