How To Farm Gallons Quickly
The most efficient way of farming Gallons is by destroying enemy ships and looting them while playing Steamworld Heist 2. Enemy ships respawn each day, and it's easy to out-gun enemy ships early in the game, and the Gallons you get from this will help you stay ahead.
Custom Difficulty
To further speed this process up, go to the System menu and select the Custom difficult option. In the menu, you'll be able to increase the, "Naval Enemy Density" which can greatly increase the number of enemy ships found nearby. As long as your ship is strong enough to quickly take down enemy ships in your current area, you'll be able to farm them for Gallons easily, resting after they are gone to respawn them all. This setting can be changed at any time not in a mission, letting you farm when you want, or reducing their numbers to make exploration easier.
