Steam users have until Friday, August 29 at 12:00pm CST to claim the survival management game Dead in Bermuda for free. PC gamers are able to claim all kinds of free games as long as they are willing to use multiple launchers. There are usually at least a handful of free games to claim on Steam every month, and there are always freebies to claim through the Epic Games Store as well.
At the time of this writing, the Epic Games Store free games are Kamaeru and Strange Horticulture. Both games will be free on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, August 28, at which point they will be replaced by Machinarium and Make Way. Since time is running out to claim Kamaeru and Strange Horticulture, PC gamers should be sure to grab them ASAP. And while they're at it, they will also want to navigate to Steam and claim the latest free game on that platform as well.

For those unfamiliar with the game, Dead in Bermuda is a survival management game where players have to help plane crash survivors survive on an island. Players have to manage their survivors' needs and relationships, all the while exploring the island and crafting helpful items. The game promises a mysterious "Atlantean prophecy" to solve, which adds an extra layer of intrigue to the proceedings. Dead in Bermuda has earned a "Mostly Positive" rating from Steam users since its initial launch in 2015, so those intrigued by the concept should definitely make sure to claim the game while they still can.
On paper, Dead in Bermuda sounds like it should appeal to fans of the classic TV series Lost. Lost was also about plane crash survivors stranded on a strange island while trying to manage their relationships with each other. In fact, it wouldn't be surprising at all if Dead in Bermuda was directly inspired by Lost, so fans of the show should definitely consider giving it a look. After all, if they claim the game while it's free, there's literally no downside to giving it a go.
