Right now, there are a couple of free games for Steam users to snag. Until December 18, Steam users can claim Black Desert Online for free. Black Desert Online is a fantasy MMORPG that first released in 2014 and has since become one of the more popular games in the genre. While there has been plenty of criticism levied at Black Desert Online over the years, the game still has a dedicated fanbase, and the Steam free giveaway should give even more PC gamers the chance to see what it's all about.

Until December 15 at 12:00pm CST, Steam users have the chance to claim Just Ignore Them for free. A creepy horror game that has earned "Mostly Positive" reviews since it released in 2017, Just Ignore Them features point-and-click gameplay and a story shaped by player choice. Players take on the role of an 8-year-old boy tormented by monsters in his house. It features old-school graphics and may not be everyone's cup of tea, but you can't beat free.
Black Desert Online and Just Ignore Them are the current free games on Steam, but PC gamers willing to venture elsewhere can get other freebies. In fact, one of the biggest PC free games ever is currently up for grabs, with Hogwarts Legacy free on the Epic Games Store until December 18 at 10:00am CT. Hogwarts Legacy was given away for free as a way to celebrate The Game Awards and highlight the Harry Potter content coming to Epic Games' own Fortnite.
When the Hogwarts Legacy free giveaway expires on December 18, Epic Games Store will start the annual free mystery game promotion. We don't know what the first free mystery game is, or if the giveaways will be daily or weekly, but we'll find out on Thursday when Hogwarts Legacy is cycled out. In the meantime, PC gamers that want free games should be sure to claim Hogwarts Legacy while it's free on the Epic Games Store, as well as Just Ignore Them and Black Desert Online while they're free on Steam.
