PC gamers on Steam can now take advantage of the platform's Autumn sale, which is packed with tons of enticing discounts on titles old and new. Steam is the premier storefront for PC gamers, and while other prominent PC gaming platforms exist, like the Epic Games Store and GOG, Steam is by far the most prolific, as its player charts dominate the zeitgeist and frequent sales help users build up massive libraries of titles.
Steam is famous for running sales all the time and many PC gamers would agree that the platform sprinkles in a good amount of smaller, themed sales in between the larger Winter, Spring, and Summer sales. Just recently, Steam held its Third-Person Shooter Fest, a sale that saw fan-favorite third-person shooting games like Vanquish, The Last of Us: Part 1, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, and even last year's Star Wars Outlaws get big discounts. A smaller Steam sale that went live earlier this month was its Political Sim Fest, which offered a host of PC-centirc titles like Rogue State and Age of History 2 at lower prices.

In an exciting update for PC gamers, Steam reveals the entire list of various discount events coming in 2025, alongside their dates.
Steam Autumn Sale Ends on October 6
Now, in the early days of Fall, Steam has kicked off its annual Autumn sale a bit earlier than expected. Starting today and running until October 6, Steam's big Autumn blowout features Monster Hunter Wilds, 2023 Game of the Year Baldur's Gate 3, and Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced as three of its biggest headliners. Some of the sale's deepest discounts include Mafia 3, Doom Eternal, Control Ultimate Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and 2020 isometric stealth gem Desperados 3, each available for no more than $4.
Sloclap's soccer game Rematch, Aggro Crab's co-op climber Peak, and one of Steam's most viral horror hits this year in R.E.P.O. Are some of the most well-regarded indies that PC gamers can grab as part of this sale. While Peak and R.E.P.O. Are both up for around $7, Rematch still sits at a heftier $24, though considering the game's unique style of competitive soccer gameplay and exciting live service roadmap, PC gamers who are fans of the sport may still find its 20% discount worthwhile. Like with many of Steam's seasonal sales, this early Autumn buffet seems to have something for just about everyone, especially gamers looking to get into some of 2025's latest and greatest releases, like Assassin's Creed Shadows, Blue Prince, and Doom: The Dark Ages.
It's not known why Steam's Autumn sale is ending so early in the season this year, as it's set to end right as Fall really begins to hit full swing. Perhaps Steam has another big sale planned for later in October that'll help keep the discounts rolling; maybe even one themed around horror games right in time for Halloween. For now, gamers on PC have a lot of fun discounted games to choose from until October 6.
