Where to Find Glowing Shells in Starsand Island

Hold onto any Glowing Shells you find in your adventures whether its in storage boxes or your backpack until you have enough to buy unique items.

Glowing Shells are actually another type of in-game currency that you may find during your adventures on the island. They have only one important use, so if you do come across them, do collect them and don't make the mistake of selling them.

To answer the question of where on Starsand Island you can find Glowing Shells, they're exclusively found along the coast of Half-Moon Bay. Do take your time walking the entire coastline to spot them, as they do have a relatively low spawn rate and only appear during certain times of the year.

The reason behind their low spawning rate is that Glowing Shells only appear at unique times and seasons. During our playthrough, Glowing Shells appeared during the summer season, and a few of them were found during the Beach Festival event.

It's unclear whether they appear in the remaining seasons, though we haven't found any in the fall. Likewise, it's unclear whether they appear under certain weather conditions aside from sunny weather; however, some players have found Glowing Shells in rainy weather.

What to Use Glowing Shells for in Starsand Island

Head to Lex Woodworks where yo can exchange Glowing Shells for exclusive furniture blueprints.

If you've collected enough Glowing Shells, you can start using them immediately; however, they have one purpose or use in-game: to acquire exclusive blueprints.

The store to look for on the Island Map is Lex Woodworks, and you can track its location before heading inside and interacting with the cash register. Look for the "Glowing Shell Exchange" tab and select it to find unique, exclusive furnishing blueprints you can exchange for Glowing Shells.
