A creative Starfield fan has designed an Xbox Series X heavily incorporating the game's NASA-punk tech style. Starfield was recently given a 45-minute gameplay deep dive after Xbox's Games Showcase, where game director Todd Howard walked fans through the game's vast array of gameplay features and systems. In the middle of Starfield's deep dive Direct, Todd Howard revealed a bevy of physical collector's items and accessories. Starfield's Constellation Edition provides players with the real-life version of the Chronomark Watch used by the player character in-game, as well as a stylish storage case for it. On the accessories side of the coin was a Starfield-themed limited edition wireless Xbox headset and controller, both adorned with the sleek, white NASA-punk aesthetic featured heavily in the game's art.RELATED: Starfield Xbox Controller Comes With Surprise Bonus One fan took things a step further and created an entire Xbox Series X mockup using that same NASA-punk style. On Twitter, Dreamer360X posted four images showcasing what their version of a Starfield-themed Xbox Series X would look like. The base color is white, matching the official headset and controller. The design also features gray topographical lines, a visual motif that's been prominent in Starfield' s art, and is fitting considering the varying terrain players will encounter while exploring Starfield's hundreds of planets.

Dreamer's console design also smartly features that quad-colored stripe around the Xbox button, just like how it's situated on the controller. The stripe continues on the left side of the console where it houses the logo of Constellation, the in-game organization known as the last group of space explorers. Another nice touch is the disc-sized circle above the console's disc drive which reads "scan started." The rest of the console is covered in an amalgamation of neat, red and gray lines and switches emulating old NASA-style control panels.

It is worth mentioning that the only first-party Xbox title to get the Xbox Series X special edition console treatment was the 20th anniversary of Halo, which launched right around the release of Halo Infinite in 2021. The Halo Series X was darker and featured a starry night sky and boxy golden lines. If a Starfield Series X is in the pipeline, which is entirely possible considering the magnitude of Bethesda Game Studios' 1,000-planet space epic, it'll be interesting to see if it will look similar to Dreamer's white design or if it takes a different visual approach. With the Halo Series X having been revealed at Gamescom's Opening Night Live in 2021, it wouldn't be out of the question to see the official Starfield iteration of the console unveiled at this year's show just a few weeks ahead of the game's September launch.

Starfield is coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S on September 6.
