There are two ways to take pictures in Starfield's photo mode. Gamers can either take a screenshot or save it to their personal Starfield Photo Gallery.

using the photo gallery option to view displayed photos

While using Photo Mode, gamers can use the Take a Picture option to take a picture that will automatically go to the in-game Photo Gallery.

Players can access the Photo Gallery in the System menu, right under the Photo Mode option. Here, they can review every picture that they've previously taken in Photo Mode.

Gamers who would like to screenshot and save their pictures to use somewhere other than the game can do it quite easily. While using Photo Mode, gamers can select Toggle Menu. This will hide the Photo Mode settings and the image grid as well, allowing players to take pictures without any trace of UI options.

It's also possible to take a screenshot of an image saved to the Photo Gallery. Players can select any image they like, press Enlarge and then Hide UI. Just like the Toggle Menu option, it hides every sign of UI text and options, making it possible to take a clean screenshot.

Starfield is available now for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
