Unity is the 12th Main Quest in Starfield and players will discover crucial clues about the game during this mission. A couple of Planets will be visited, and certain characters will reveal key information about the elusive Unity.
Matteo, a fellow member of the Constellation in Starfield, is hung over a word said by the Hunter that could mean something more. Therefore, players are tasked with visiting a certain character with Matteo in New Atlantis.
Unity Walkthrough In Starfield
For starters, Unity is triggered upon completing the High Price To Pay Quest in Starfield. After losing a crucial member of Constellation, Matteo suggests visiting an old acquaintance to ask about the meaning of "Unity".
Head west from the Lodge to the Sanctum Universum where Matteo is seen talking with Keeper Aquilus. Upon revealing the purpose of the sudden visit, the latter invites players inside where he tells them an old story about a Pilgrim’s journey with the founders of the Va’ruun and the House of Enlightenment. Keeper Aquilus believes that this story is a code that leads to the Pilgrim’s resting place, which contains an answer for "Unity". To find the answer, the Protagonist must speak with two characters in Starfield.
Talk To The Va’Ruun Prisoner
Head to the UC building in New Atlantis and speak with the Prisoner. She shares the tale of The Unbeliever who fought Jinan Va’Ruun four times over 120 rotations of the planet they were on.
Talk To The House of Enlightenment
Follow the Quest marker to The Well in Starfield where Andy Singh tells a story about The Drifter and keeps mentioning a Second Person as well as the number two.
Return to Keeper Aquilus who breaks down the stories into codes and guides players to the next destination, the Pilgrim’s Rest.
Where To Find Clues On Unity In Starfield
To find all four of the clues, players need to search the area around the Pilgrim’s Rest so that they can answer the questions correctly in Starfield. However, searching is not required since players can immediately take the quiz and answer correctly.

Go inside and grab the Pilgrim’s Final Writing to find the answer. Return to the ship in Starfield and jump to the Hyla System to land on Hyla II.
If players are keeping the Artifacts inside their ship, there's a high chance Starborn Ships will attack them near Hyla II.
How To Find The Scorpion’s Sting Puzzle In Starfield
Upon landing on Hyla II, follow the Quest marker in Starfield to find the Ancient Ruins. At the end of the path, lies a light beam shining down and a glyph. To solve the Scorpion’s Sting puzzle, players need to use the four circles surrounding the glyph to move the light beam around to its correct position.
Move the light left then down towards the tip of the constellation etched on the ground.
After that, the Protagonist must travel to the Last Star of the Scorpius Constellation where they will meet the Hunter. The In Their Footsteps Quest in Starfield will begin immediately after encountering the Starborn in the Constellation.
