It will be very interesting to see what the future holds for Starfield as a franchise. The recent Starfield: Shattered Space DLC has fallen to "Mostly Negative" reviews on Steam, after most felt it offered more of the same experience given by the base game. That's fine for some, but given Starfield's polarizing reception, it's not what Bethesda would have wanted. The studio has done a lot of work with updates to win players over on Starfield, so to see many dislike Shattered Space is disappointing. It remains to be seen if Bethesda will persevere and try to do more with the IP in the future, whether that be more DLC or a sequel.
