There are dozens of galaxies to explore in Starfield, and your ship is one of the most crucial tools in the game for getting around the universe. That is why it is important to know where the various shipyards are located in Starfield, in case you need to quickly repair your ship or get a new one entirely. Major Shipyard Locations On Planets

These shipyards are mostly found at landing pads when traveling to cities and other bustling locations. Players can talk to nearby ship technicians to repair, buy, sell, or even modify their ships. Here are the major shipyards players can travel to:

  • Akila City - Akila, Cheyenne system
  • Cydonia - Mars, Sol system
  • Gagarin Landing - Gagarin, Alpha Centauri
  • HopeTech - Hopetown, Polvo, Valo system
  • Hopetown - Polvo, Valo system
  • Neon - Neon City, Volii Alpha, Volii system
  • New Atlantis - Jemison, Alpha Centauri system
  • New Homestead - Titan, Sol system
  • Paradiso - Porrima II, Porrima system
  • Stroud-Eklund Showroom - Neon Core, Volii Alpha, Volii system
  • The Eleos Retreat - Ixyll II, Ixyll system
  • The Red Mile - Porrima III, Porrima system

Major Shipyard Locations In Space

There are also shipyards in space called Staryards that will do the same work that ship technicians on the ground will do. The only difference is that you will have to dock with the ship and physically get onboard instead of simply landing on the planet and talking with whoever is near the landing pad. Here are some of the major Staryards that players can visit:

  • Deimos - Orbiting around Deimos, Sol system
  • Stroud-Eklund - Orbiting around Deepala, Narion system
  • The Den - Orbiting around Chthonia, Wolf system
  • The Key - Orbiting around Suvorov, Kryx system
  • Trident Luxury Lines - Orbiting around Akila, Cheyenne system

While some of the Staryards are simple trading posts out in space, at least two are worth the trip. As part of the Overdesigned side quest, Walter Stroud sends you to Stroud-Eklund to help design and budget a ship. Players will receive a new ship by completing the quest, though the decisions made during the mission determine what kind of ship it is.

There is also The Key, the home base for the Crimson Pirates. Players can eventually join the pirate group, and staying friendly with them will give access to buy different ships and unique ship parts.

Starfield is available now on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
