While many Bethesda fans are ready to hear more about The Elder Scrolls 6, Starfield likely remains the top priority for the studio moving in 2024. Indeed, Bethesda has previously stated that there would be no Elder Scrolls 6 news until Starfield was out, so while it's more likely than ever before, Starfield's ongoing support means anything fans receive of TES6 would be a trickle. For now, Starfield remains the entire stream.

Of course, many are also curious about what will come to Starfield in 2024. As a single-player game, fans shouldn't expect a continuous influx of content, but Bethesda has dedicated itself to continually improving the game with some fresh content, alongside bug-squashing updates and quality-of-life improvements. Each of these should be an exciting addition in their own right. City maps will make shopping and exploring in Starfield easier, many players fell in love with Starfield's ship customization, and new ways to travel could go hand-in-hand with that customization. The new Starfield gameplay and difficulty options could also be really rewarding for players, especially if it's something akin to a hardcore survival mode. That has appeared in prior Fallout games, but it would make as much sense, if not more, for it to exist in Starfield. And of course, Creations will bring official mod support to Starfield.

Starfield's Shattered Space DLC Releases in 2024

Although Bethesda has confirmed that Starfield's Shattered Space DLC will release in 2024, nothing else is quite known about it. It's likely to be a late 2024 release given the available information. It's possible to speculate on what "Shattered" Space could mean, perhaps indicating some form of shattering among the organized governments of the galaxy. Or perhaps it's somehow tied to the Starborn and the Unity. It could perhaps be a new region of unexplored space, fitting for what Constellation seeks to accomplish in the main story. Whatever it is, fans will just have to wait and see, but news, trailers, gameplay features, and other confirmations about it can be expected throughout 2024.
