A Starfield player's unique ship design is quickly making the rounds on the internet, as it's made to look just like Halo's famous Energy Sword. The interplanetary vessel, modeled after arguably one of the most iconic and recognizable video game weapons of all time, is proving to be quite popular among Starfield and Halo fans alike.

The long-awaited action-RPG from studio powerhouse Bethesda officially launched last fall for Xbox and Microsoft Windows, which sees players step into the role of a space explorer in the Milky Way galaxy tracking down and acquiring mysterious artifacts. Bethesda's first new IP in a quarter-century, the open-world Starfield has been met largely with positivity, although there seems to be many who take issue with certain aspects of the game. Many of those issues are hoped to be addressed with Starfield's 1.10.30 update patch, which introduces over 500 changes to the game.

Starfield Fan Builds Ship Inspired By Groudon From Pokemon

Starfield's ship building system appears to be nearly limitless, with one player creating a ship modeled after Legendary Pokemon Groudon.

The impressively-designed Starfield ship was posted by Reddit user RecentAd4030, who posted their custom creation to one of the site's major Starfield pages. The ship build manages to capture all of the major design aspects present in its inspiration source, including the sword's distinctive glowing dual blades and the almost ethereal cyan coloring. The ship's cockpit even functions as the center groove of the Energy Sword's hilt, simultaneously adding form and function. While the ship may not be functionally up-to-par with some of Starfield's best ships in the game, its esthetics are certainly hard to beat.

While designing a ship to look like Halo's Energy Sword may seem like a novel idea, another player actually had the same idea months prior. Another Reddit user by the name of wadeinaround posted their Starfield ship that looks like Halo's Energy Sword last October, which looks strikingly similar to the design featured above. However, this version appears to be substantially shorter, measuring just 39 meters to RecentAd4030's 62 meters. The two ships are a testament to the Starfield player base's creative ability, with both designs very similar yet distinctive.

No Limit of Starfield Outer Space-Inspired Creativity

With Starfield and Halo both being set in outer space, its no surprise the prevalence the latter's content has had in the former. However, some players are taking things a step further, with a new Starfield mod that puts Halo's Master Chief armor in the game. The mod adds the Mark V, Mark VI, and Mark VII Mjolnir armor cores, allowing fans to step into the armor of their favorite version of the Halo protagonist. With thousands of mods and a seemingly endless number of creative players, custom Starfield ship builds should get even more interesting as time goes on.
