A Starfield player built a ship in the game that looks a lot like Charizard from Pokemon. One of Starfield's most popular features is its ship builder. The game gives players the tools to create nearly any kind of ship they can think of, with a huge variety of impressive creations shown off to the community since its launch last year.

Some Starfield ships are completely original creations. Other times, players take inspiration from their favorite franchises when building their Starfield ships. As one might imagine, there have been many Starfield ships inspired by fellow sci-fi IP like Star Wars and Star Trek, but other times, shipbuilders base their designs on unlikelier sources. For example, there have been many ships inspired by Pokemon, like the Blastoise ship that a fan made shortly after the game's launch.

Starfield Player Finds Impressive Location After 700 Hours in the Game

A veteran Starfield player with hundreds of hours of experience finds a cool location that’s brand new to them and completely unexpected.

Now Blastoise has been joined by a Charizard ship, courtesy of Reddit user knaivey. Knaivey showed off their jaw-dropping take on the Fire/Flying-type Generation 1 Pokemon by sharing some images of it flying through space. Many Starfield fans were impressed by knaivey's creation, praising the design and asking for a guide so they can create their own version of it.

Custom Starfield Charizard Ship

Many expected Starfield players to put the shipbuilder to good use, and they certainly haven't disappointed. It's been interesting to see all the different creations Starfield players have dreamed up with the tools provided by Bethesda, and there should be many more impressive custom ships shown off in the future. In fact, it's possible that future Starfield updates could even give shipbuilders even more options, though that's just speculation at this time.

While improvements or additions to Starfield's shipbuilder have not been confirmed at the time of this writing, fans can expect Bethesda to keep supporting the game in the years ahead. Bethesda plans to release new Starfield updates on a regular basis. In fact, one dropped just recently that made some significant improvements to the game's lighting and addressed some lingering bugs.

Bethesda has teased fans with what future Starfield updates will bring to the table. According to Bethesda, future updates for the game will introduce city maps, mod support, and even "all new ways of traveling." Bethesda stopped short of expanding on what exactly that means, but many have assumed that this means land vehicles are coming to the game. If that's the case, one has to wonder if they will offer the same level of customization that Starfield's spaceships provide.
