Fuel Tanks are essential for players who plan long jumps between star systems in Starfield. Without much Fuel in the ship, players have to Grav jump into multiple stars before landing in the designated system. Installing more Fuel Tanks into the ship solves that problem by prolonging the Grav Jump to bypass multiple stars to reach the destination.
Of course, using more Fuel requires installing more Fuel Tanks, which means using more space and putting more weight on the ship. So, finding the best part to add to every ship is important. For that here are the best Fuel Tanks in Starfield.

Players unlock the H30 Atlas He3 Tank at level 30. It’s a tiny Tank that holds 400 Grav Jump Fuel in Starfield. Although it’s not the best, what makes this Fuel Tank special is how small it is. Players can fit it into tiny corners to fill the ship’s outer look or hide it inside and stack up the Grav Jump Fuel.

With the same amount of Grav Jump Fuel as the H30 Atlas, the 700T has a much bigger size but surprisingly, lower weight. Players start seeing the 700T He3 Tank in stores at level 32 and equipping it requires Rank 2 Starship Design Skill.

At level 40, players enter the endgame era, the H40 Atlas He3 Tank can hold a whopping 550 Grav Jump Fuel. The H40 size is a little bigger than the H30, but it still can fit into tight areas around the ship in Starfield.

Players unlock the 800T at level 42 and the size of this Fuel Tank is massive. It’s surely the biggest Fuel Tank in Starfield. However, even with that size, it still holds as much Grav Jump Fuel as the H40 Atlas, but with a slightly lighter weight.

Surprisingly, players start seeing the M50 Ulysses He3 Tank with Technicians at level 18 in Starfield. There are plenty of good things to be said about the M50 Ulysses He3 Tank. First, it holds a decent amount of Grav Jump Fuel for 25 Mass only. That means players can install multiple of it without sacrificing much ship weight. Also, the M50 Ulysses He3 Tank can only be installed at the sides of the ship and can give a beautiful round shape. Players can install multiple M50 Ulysses He3 Tanks on the sides without sacrificing any of the ship's outer design.

Finally, with even more surprises, the 900T He3 Tank is available at a very early stage of Starfield, at level 27, even before the 700T and 800T He3 Tanks. This Fuel Tank is large, and holds a staggering 650 Grav Jump Fuel, with a very decent Mass. With all that being said, the 900T He3 Tank is arguably the best Fuel Tank in Starfield.
Starfield is available now on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
