Summary

  • Boost movement speed in Starfield with items like Aurora, Red Amp, Amp, Squall, and Blend to become a swift blur of death and acceleration on the battlefield.
  • These items not only increase movement speed but also offer additional perks such as enhanced reflexes, increased jump height, damage resistance, and extra damage.
  • However, players should be cautious of addiction as some of these items, like Aurora and Squall, can be addictive substances that come with risks but can be countered with addiction-curing methods in Starfield.

In Starfield, spaceships are capable of jumping to different solar systems almost instantaneously. This sensation of speed may leave some humans feeling left out, and the desire to go as fast as the Grav Drive that made these possible could very well be within reach for some players who invest in the best builds in Starfield to increase their movement speed, and ensure that they are a swift blur of death and acceleration.

Movement Speed is an important factor in many first-person shooters, as players will need to keep their mobility above the competition to be both harder to hit, and a more deadly target, striking anyone who dares come across the path of the player. With these food and items, players can use movement speed to a greater effect, and ensure that they can kill in a flash.

5 Aurora

  • Exclusive to Neon
  • Contraband Item
  • 760 Credits
  • Addictive
  • Slows time by 40% for 10 seconds

Whilst Aurora doesn’t exactly increase the movement speed of the player, it will in fact slow the world around them, allowing for some pretty cool slow-motion segments, and for their reflexes to be enhanced.

When players consume Aurora, they may be indulging in an addictive hallucinogenic substance only legal in the city of Neon, but they will also be allowing themselves to practically dodge bullets, dash faster than their enemies, and react to threats before a single trigger has been fired. Players can act like true reactionary, with the best movement speed. However, players should be aware that indulging in too much Aurora could cause them to develop an addiction.

4 Red Amp

  • Craftable
  • +50% Melee Damage for 2 minutes
  • +50% Movement Speed for 2 minutes
  • 2x Jump Height for 2 minutes
  • +400 Damage Resistance for 2 minutes

Players need to head to a Pharmaceutical Lab and use 2 Mercury, 1 Red Trench, and 1 Amp in order to craft a Red Amp item. This is a fusion of a Red Trench and an Amp that adds a bonus for close-quarter combat, athleticism, and battle effectiveness thanks to its multitude of factors that provide players with a grand sense of ability.

Red Amp shines in many factors, but the 50% increase in movement speed for 2 minutes is the show stealer. This means that players can walk and run at x1.5 speed, which is by far the best movement item in Starfield to have them run rampant against their Crimson Fleet or UC Vanguard enemies.

3 Amp

  • Trade Authority aid item
  • 100 Credits
  • +35% Movement Speed for 2 minutes
  • 2x Jump Height for 2 minutes

This strong steroid-based performance enhancer has been made specifically to increase leg strength, and players can use the Amp inhaler to indulge in true performance and power. Players can give themselves a whopping +35% Movement Speed, which will see them dash through battlefields, faster than a normal run could ever take them. However, these 2 minutes of sheer speed are not the only advantage of the Amp.

There is also the fact that players will double their Jump Height for those 2 minutes, meaning some hard-to-reach places are even more accessible, even without the use of a Boostpack that can make players shoot into the air like a rocket. The Amp is a great use of player’s Credits, considering it’s as cheap as 100 Credits, and has a small mass of 0.10.

2 Squall

  • Purchased from the Trade Authority
  • 350 Credits
  • +20% Damage for 2 minutes
  • +20% Movement Speed for 2 minutes
  • Addictive

This combat enhancer was designed for warfare and has been developed and used by the Crimson Fleet for years to create better soldiers and pirates. However, players should be aware that by consuming Squall, they are risking an addiction, as this is an extremely dangerous substance that shouldn’t be messed with too much unless players are aiming to mess their character up. However, it’s also worth noting, that there are plenty of ways that players can cure themselves of addiction in Starfield.

The shining factor of Squall comes from the fact that players will deal 20% extra damage to their opponents with any weapon that they wish. These 2 minutes of pure action mean that players can clear through enemies with ease. However, the additional bonus of a 20% to movement speed is another shining factor that will have players tear through enemies like they are the Doom Slayer, facing off against all manners of evils across the galaxy.

1 Blend

  • Located at Legrande’s Liquors on Neon
  • 380 Credits
  • Slows time by 20% for 10 seconds
  • +75 Damage Resistance for 3 minutes
  • -20% O2 Recovery for 3 minutes

Another popular beverage of choice for the people of Neon is Blend, which luckily, is not a contraband item that could see players face prison time for enjoying its taste. The carbonated alcoholic beverage has caffeine and a secret ingredient to make it so powerful and potent. However, what some do not realize, is that the secret ingredient is Aurora. This is why players can see time slow down by 20% for 10 seconds.

This quick and refreshing drink that players can enjoy will see time slow, meaning players can master their reflexes and watch the world around them slow down, whilst they are still able to watch bullets and enemies try and strike at them, thus increasing their speed against the world. However, they will lose O2 Recovery whilst using Blend.

Starfield is out now on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
