Players will want to know how to best treat Burns in Starfield, and the items and food that can be used to soothe their pains and ensure their adventures in the stars do not end here.
Venturing through the Settled Systems, players will be able to trade their hard-earned Credits for some much-needed aid items. There are plenty of afflictions that can provide the player with a hard time, so stocking up with these items that cure Burns is a good idea for those ready to hunt for Artifacts and find the mysteries of Starfield.
4 Infused Bandages
- Trade Authority and Reliant Medical locations
- 330 Credits
- Treats Burns, Contusions, Frostbite, Lacerations, and Punctured Wounds
Thanks to these bandages that have been saturated with heal paste, the Infused Bandages can heal a multitude of afflictions, but most importantly, burns. Whilst there are no inherent bonuses to the Infused Bandages, their lack of mass means that players can store more than they might even need just for the safety of having plenty of aid items available for embarking onto dangerous planets in both hazardous environments and violent aliens.
The Credits needed for the Infused Bandages are fairly cheap, and the mass is extremely low. Healing Burns can be a great asset with the Infused Bandages, and they are easy to find thanks to the fact that most Settled Systems will have both a Trade Authority and a Reliant Medical to keep players alive.
3 Analgesic Poultice
- Reliant Medical purchasable aid item
- 450 Credits
- Treats Burns, Contusions, Frostbite, Infections, Lacerations, and Punctured Wounds
With the combined effects of antibiotics, heal paste, and bandages, the Analgesic Poultice can be used to treat all manners of ailments that could deter players from their galactic conquest of the stars. This fairly cheap and affordable healthcare item can be picked up from any Reliant Medical from across the Settled Systems, but it will remain a necessity to pick up the required Credits for its purchase.
However, players that do have the Credits, should feel free to pick up more than just one, as they can be used for a variety of different ailments that are in need of treatment. There are no bonuses to be had from using this aid item, but it gets the job done and at a low cost of mass for players to carry, so there’s no disadvantage to having a fair few.
2 Antibiotic Paste
- Purchased from Reliant Medical vendors
- 430 Credits
- Treats Burns, Frostbite, and Infections
Burns, Frostbite, and Infections are common injuries that can occur throughout the galaxy. Every planet has a different environment, filled with hostilities that could cause major damage to players as they explore them. However, the Antibiotic Paste has something for all players, and it can easily be theirs at a low asking price, to help them continue their adventures throughout the cosmos.
Exploring space may be dangerous, but the Antibiotic Paste makes it all the easier to do so, and far more welcoming, as players can cause quite the stir with an injury just to use the Antibiotic Paste as if nothing happened in the first place. If players think they are going to venture to a planet that could cause Burns, like those pesky Crimson Fleet members, then the Antibiotic Paste is a good aid item to take with them and can beat out the other aid items depending on if players also think they are going to end up getting Frostbite or Infections.
1 Panacea
- Trade Authority and Reliant Medical Locations
- Treats All Afflictions
- Completely drains O2
- Purchased for 740 Credits
Burns, and other ailments, are truly no match to Panacea. Thanks to this total system purge, all diseases, poisons, and injuries can be removed instantly, that is, at the cost of the entire meter of O2 that the player possesses. Although some might see the O2 depletion as a disadvantage, they need not worry, as O2 comes back, but ailments stick around for far too long to be wanted and provide unfair disadvantages to the player that has them.
By using the Panacea, players can immediately remove their ailment thanks to this powerful futuristic treatment. Players should always carry a few of these, as they are not only good for Burns, but truly any ailments that are in need of treatment. As for the loss of O2, players can wait or sleep it off somewhere safe.
