A Stardew Valley mod adds more magic to the valley, giving players six schools of magic that they can belong to. The creative twist on the cozy indie game adds opportunities to use magic for useful purposes around the farm and town, or Stardew Valley players can simply wreak havoc with their newfound abilities.
Stardew Valley already contains some magic, as fans likely know. It doesn't take too long for fans to draw the attention of the area's wizard, and before that, players will encounter Junimos. However, while fans can eventually use things like totems and the
Return Scepter to teleport around the game, outright magic is generally out of reach of the player. Thankfully, the game has a large modding community, and this mod can make the world of Stardew Valley even more magical.
This magical Stardew Valley mod is simply dubbed Magic by Neosinf, available via NexusMods, and takes the magic system from the Stardew Druid mod and cuts it down to just the magic casting abilities. Stardew Druid offers a number of quests, new characters, and generally overhauls the game to become a more magic-themed place. For those who want to otherwise keep the core game just the way it is, though, Magic by Neosinf lets them incorporate all six schools of magic without impacting the title in any other way.
Stardew Valley Magic Mod Abilities
The six schools of magic's Rite Effects each have a number of abilities that players can access. Rite of the Weald is based around "rewilding" areas of the valley and drawing from the energy of the planet. Rite of Mists gives players lots of power and destructive abilities, while Rite of the Stars gives players the ability to call down a rain of fire or alter space-time. Rite of the Fates is based upon magical creatures like trickster faeries, while Rite of Ether lets Stardew Valley players become a magical creature themselves, namely a dragon. Rite of Bones wraps up the Stardew Valley mod by letting players summon birds to assist them.
