Summary

  • A new Stardew Valley mod provides 10 machines for creating artisan goods, including butter churn, extruder, and oil maker.
  • Prismatic Essence in Stardew Valley mod sells for 3,500g each, a big boost from unprocessed rare minerals.
  • Mayonnaise makers can create Truffle Mayonnaise for 1,200g each, offering a more reliable profit option.

Selling artisan goods is among the best ways to make money in Stardew Valley, and a new mod opens up a lot more options for those looking to get their artisinal fix. In total, this mod provides ten new machines for creating artisan goods in Stardew Valley, as well as 80 different products that can be made using the new and existing machines.

Artisan goods in Stardew Valley come in a lot of varieties, even those just included in the base game. Players can easily turn a higher profit from animal products like eggs and milk by using machines to turn them into mayonnaise and cheese, respectively, but there are plenty of other options for turning one product into a more expensive one, like making fruit into wine or honey into mead.

Stardew Valley's Rabbit's Foot Doesn't Work Like Players Think

Some Stardew Valley players are coming to the realization that the Rabbit's Foot item they've been carrying doesn't work the way that they think.

With the release of the Cornucopia - Artisan Machines mod created by Nexus Mods users MizuJakkaru and 6480, this selection increases even further. A publicly accessible spreadsheet lists all the goods that players can make by using the mod, which include a variety of nine types of butter that can be made with the new butter churn, an extruder that makes seven kinds of noodles, in addition to beeswax and chewing gum, and five new oils that can be created with the existing Stardew Valley oil maker. This mod is part of the Cornucopia series, and while most of the products can be created with just the Artisan Machines mod, taking full advantage of all the mod has to offer will require the installation of other mods in the series, like the Cornucopia - More Crops mod.

The Most Profitable Products in the Stardew Valley Cornucopia - Artisan Machines Mod

While artisan goods generally provide higher payouts than the products they're made from, their profitability can vary, and that's true of the products included in the mod as well. The item that sells for the highest price is Prismatic Essence, which requires one of Stardew Valley's Prismatic Shards to be placed in the new alembic for 1,750 minutes. Prismatic Essences sell for 3,500g each even without the Artisan level 10 farming skill, which is a big boost from the 2,000g normally received from the unprocessed rare mineral.

But Prismatic Shards are rare drops, and those aiming to make a somewhat more reliable profit can fire up their existing mayonnaise makers to create Truffle Mayonnaise, which sells for 1,200g each, or olive oil mayonnaise, which sells for 950g a pop. Even for players who aren't looking to maximize their farms profitability, this mod and the series it comes from provide a lot of new immersive qualities for running a farm just outside Pelican Town.
