Stardew Valley will soon be getting an update that fixes the crashing issues impacting the mobile version of the game. This past year saw the release of one of the most significant Stardew Valley updates to date. The big 1.6 Update added a slew of new content to the game, addressed lingering issues, and more. Stardew Valley Update 1.6 attracted newcomers to the PC version of the game and convinced many lapsed players to pick it back up, though those on console and mobile had to wait months for their version of the update.

Stardew Valley Update 1.6 hit consoles and mobile earlier this month, and since then, a variety of smaller updates have been released to tackle lingering issues and make additional changes. One such update was released specifically for Stardew Valley's mobile version on Android and iOS on November 15. Unfortunately, this update has made Stardew Valley crash for some mobile players. ConcernedApe has taken to Twitter to acknowledge the Stardew Valley crashing problem on mobile, promising that an "emergency patch" will be deployed to fix the issues "as soon as possible." An exact time the update will be out was not provided, but fans can rest assured that they shouldn't have to wait too terribly long for the problems to be fixed.

Stardew Valley Update Will Address Mobile Crashing Issues

These crashing issues impacting Stardew Valley on mobile seem to be the most serious to come from the recent updates, but there have been other problems as well. For instance, a strange bug made Stardew Valley chickens disappear, while putting hats on pets seemed to cause performance problems. Another bug only impacted Spanish-language versions of Stardew Valley, for whatever reason.

One unfortunate side effect of the latest Stardew Valley updates is that they have broken mods for some players. ConcernedApe issued an apology to players whose Stardew Valley mods were broken by the recent updates and promised to work to avoid problems like that arising in the future.

ConcernedApe has made it clear that he is willing to work on Stardew Valley indefinitely, so it seems that more updates for the game are definitely in the cards. In the meantime, fans can also expect the developer to continue work on Haunted Chocolatier, though no release window for the project is in sight at the time of this writing.
